X Factor is taking a walk down memory lane ahead of the upcoming 13th series of the ITV entertainment show. A host of judges, both past and present, star in a new promo for the show set to the soundtrack of 2 Unlimited's classic hit No Limit.

The trailer features a mash up of some of the show's most iconic auditions from the past 12 years, including JLS' debut audition, Jedward and One Direction along with past winners Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke.
Past and present judges star in the new X Factor promo
It sees X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne all delivering their verdicts to hopeful singers, along with past judges Cheryl, Tulisa Kontostavlos and guest judge Katy Perry.
The amusing trailer is the first in a number of videos which will air before X Factor returns to screens this autumn. These include another mash-up of judges singing along to Salt N Pepper's hit Push It, and Simon Cowell rapping to Tinie Tempah's single Pass Out.
Louis, Sharon and Nicole Scherzinger are returning to the judging panel
Following the departures of Cheryl, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw, previous judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh are back – and it appears they're slipping straight back into their old roles judging by the categories they have been chosen to mentor.
Because the Daily Star reports that, for the sixth time in his 12 years as a judge, Louis, 63, has the groups. Louis has only won the show once, way back in 2005 with Shayne Ward, so he'll undoubtedly be hoping for a strong pool of talent from the groups this year.
The 13th series will air this autumn
Former Pussycat Doll Nicole, 38, will mentor the boys' category this year, something she probably knows a thing or two about after guiding both James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas to the final in 2012, with James being crowned the eventual winner.
And 63-year-old Sharon is back with the Over 25s, after storming to victory with Sam Bailey in the same group in 2013. The only actual surprise is the fact that Simon Cowell has the girls for the first time ever.
