It looks like Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian could soon be following in her footsteps after making his acting debut in E! drama series The Royals. Elizabeth said she was "passing the baton" to her 14-year-old son as he filmed scenes for the show on Tuesday.
Sharing a photo of herself and Damian together on Instagram, Elizabeth wrote: "Mama taking a back seat tomorrow on set of #TheRoyals. Passing the baton to my son, who is guest starring as Prince Hansel von Liechtenstein @theroyalsone @lionsgatetv."

The television role marks Damian's acting debut and may see him acting alongside his mother, who portrays the Queen in the drama. Elizabeth previously revealed that her son had been spending a lot of time with her on set during his school summer holidays and was passionate about pursuing a career in film or television in the future.
"Last summer, during his vacation from school he was on the film set and he loved every single second of it," she said during an interview on This Morning in 2015.
"He adores it. He really wants to do it," Elizabeth added.

However in February Elizabeth said she believed Damian would be more likely to pursue a career behind the camera rather than as an actor.
"I don't know if he will be an actor. I think he will be in showbusiness. He might be behind the camera. He's quite despotic when he’s making his own little mini movies, he's quite good at it," Elizabeth told ITV's Lorraine.
"I think he wants to run a studio, maybe employ his aging geriatric mother! We'll see, you never know."
It is not surprising that Damian is interested in pursuing a career in film and television; as well as having an actress mum and film producer dad, his godfather is About a Boy star Hugh Grant.
