Gordon Ramsay is reportedly planning to return to the UK screens after reaching the end of his two-year contract with the US network Fox. According to sources, the famous chef will be launching his own production team, and is unlikely to be returning to Channel 4.
A source told The Sun: "Gordon has launched his own production company to make new scripted and unscripted TV shows.
Gordon plans to return to UK television
"He has been away from UK screens for years trying to increase his profile in the US and clear his debts, but he is ready to return now. He's negotiating with several broadcasters to bring back Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word and there are lots of new ideas for shows as well."
The source continued to explain why Gordon probably won't be returning to Channel 4, saying: "He is now discussing bringing those shows back with a series of broadcasters, raising the possibility of a move to ITV. This time he wants to keep his options open and probably won’t sign an exclusive arrangement like before with Channel 4. He is speaking to ITV, the BBC and Sky and they are all interested to hear his ideas.
"It's a really exciting time and he can't wait to get back to Britain."
Gordon recently enjoyed a holiday with his wife Tana and three daughters
The star has enjoyed his time in the US, and recently shared snaps of his wife, Tana, and three daughters enjoying a holiday in Malibu. Tana shared a snap of herself with their daughter, Tilly, writing: All I see is a blonde ponytail in the distance.... WAIT FOR ME!!!!" after the pair went on a hike together.
The family appear to be healing together after the tragic news that Tana suffered a miscarriage at five months. At the time, Gordon said: "We had a devastating weekend as Tana sadly miscarried our son at five months. We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes."
