Michelle Keegan has once again amazed fans in the second episode of the action drama Our Girl. The HELLO! online blogger, who plays army doctor Georgie Lane, took to Twitter to thank viewers for their positive comments.

Michelle's character is kidnapped in the episode after going on a six-week missionary trip that goes badly wrong, and fans immediately took to social media to joke about the star's performance in the less-than-glamourous role and praise her performance, with one writing: "As for Michelle Keegan, she looks way better than me after being kidnapped than when I do spending hours getting ready #OurGirl," while another tweeted: "Never realised how good an actress @michkeegan was till I saw OurGirl- can't wait for next week now!"

Mark has been regularly supporting his wife in her role after the pair recently denied rumours they were having marital problems. Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, she spoke about the rumour, revealing: "It's so annoying!"

"The thing is I don't even read [the papers] anymore. It winds me up so I just let it run now. There are so many things and you can say 'It's not true, it's not true, I'm not wearing my ring for this reason,' but they don't seem to stop writing so you know what, let them write what they want."
