Michelle Keegan thanks Our Girl fans after episode three

Michelle Keegan has been individually thanking fans for their support of her latest show, BBC action drama Our Girl. The HELLO! Online blogger took the lead role over from Lacey Turner for the second series of the show, and has been critically praised for her portrayal of the army doctor Georgie Lane.

Episode three saw Michelle's character spending some much needed recovery time after being kidnapped during a missionary trip while dealing with her relationship with her rescuer Elvis, who also happened to jilt her at the altar.

Michelle thanked fans for their continued support 

Fans were quick to praise the episode, with one writing: "#OurGirl best thing ever @michkeegan can't end after just 5 episodes," while another wrote: "Just watched #OurGirl... Wow another brill epp! So much chemistry, amazing epp once again, had me welling up. Can't wait till next weeks."

The former Coronation Street star thanked fans for their support, then wrote: "Thank you once again for all your positive tweets re Our Girl."

Fans also took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Musketeers star Luke Pasqualino and Ben Aldridge's Captain James, with one tweeting: "Do I fancy Elvis? Yes. Do I fancy Captain James? Yes. Is it difficult to watch #OurGirl knowing I have neither in my life? Yes," while another commented on the relationship dynamics, writing: "Elvis and Georgie got me like," accompanied by a crying gif.

Mark has been supporting Michelle

Michelle's husband Mark Wright has been supporting her role, and sang her praises after last weeks episode, wriitng: "This one @michkeegan astounds me more every day.... Truly sensational performance!! WOW WOW WOW !! #OurGirl unbelievable!!"

He also shared a snap of her on Instagram encouraging people to tune into Our Girl.

"Seriously though… Look at this women from tonight… No words," he wrote.

"Can't tell you how proud I am of what she had achieved. OUR GIRL… this Wednesday at 9pm on BBC. The first episode is sensational. Enjoy."
