Queen Victoria is with child!
In Sunday night's episode, the penultimate in the first series of Victoria, viewers learnt that the young queen is pregnant with her and Prince Albert's first child.
Fans went into a frenzy especially after Victoria, played by Jenna Coleman, had just admitted in a previous episode that she wasn't ready for children.

At first Victoria cries, telling Albert: "You are going to look at my body and be revolted... I know it."
The expectant royal also confides in him, saying "I am afraid" as she recalls that her cousin Princess Charlotte died shortly after giving birth to a stillborn baby.

"Remind the panicked pregnant lady about a woman who died in childbirth, that's a foolproof plan," wrote one fan on Twitter.

Some of the antiquated terminology and the old wives' tales had other viewers in hysterics. Victoria's mum suggests drinking brandy for the baby, while lying down and resting from 12 noon to dinnertime was another recommendation.
"On the brandy in the first trimester.... " tweeted one fan. "Yeah cos brandy is the first thing a pregnant woman needs lol," posted another.
At the beginning of the episode, no one suspects that the Queen is pregnant and believes she's just ill. "Your Queen is sick," says Prince Albert's butler.
"We don't say sick, we say indisposed," he's told.

"Well, then your queen is indisposed – out of her mouth," he replies.
Queen Victoria is seen rushing out of a room, saying: "I am bilious, quickly!"
"If I'm ever pregnant again I'm definitely going to shout, "I am bilious!!!" wrote one fan. "She's even charming when she's throwing up," commented another.
"Yeah I can't come to school I'm indisposed. Yeah, out of my mouth," tweeted another.
