Joined by Ewan McGregor and Isla Fisher, Niall Horan was forced to reveal some hilarious insights into his life to avoid eating several horrible concoctions during an appearance of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Split into two teams, with Niall teamed up with Isla while Ewan partnered up with James, the rules followed that if you refused to answer a question, both team members would be forced to eat a variety of revolting foods – from a fish head to salmon smoothie.
Being offered the salmon smoothie, the singer was firstly asked: "Who is your least favourite member of One Direction?" Isla encouraged him not to answer the question and Niall eventually agreed, resulting in the pair eating a mouthful of salmon paste instead.
However, when faced with eating a tongue, Niall answer James' question about who he would prefer to spend his last night on earth with between two exes Ellie Goulding or Selena Gomez. To avoid eating the horrible food the star went with Ellie, saying he would watch Planet Earth with her on his last night as the Need Your Love singer is a huge fan.
It was then James and Ewan's turn, with Isla asking the show's host: "Name one artist you've turned down for Carpool Karaoke." After grinning for a moment, James opted to eat a scorpion while accompanied by Ewan rather than answer the tricky question. Ewan then returned the favour by asking Isla: "Has your husband Sacha Baron Cohen ever done a character in bed?"
Niall chose Ellie so they could watch Planet Earth together
The group laughed as Isla pondered the question, eventually saying: "I'm sorry, he's a private guy." She then changed her mind, denying that he has ever done a character in bed.
Niall decided to give James and Ewan the bird saliva should they refuse to answer the question, then asked Ewan if he had ever had a suffered an embarrassing "accident."
"I could lie, there's only one of two people who would know," the Trainspotting actor said, before owning up to it, joking: "Well I guess yes… well I was very young at the time... I might have [had an accident] in the nineties one time."
