Holly Willoughby is famed for being ITV's daytime queen, but she also knows how to let her down every once in a while. The 35-year-old showed off her playful side as she took part in Celebrity Juice's Halloween special – by dressing up as Suicide Squad supervillain Harley Quinn.

Host Keith Lemon, aka comedian Leigh Francis, teased the presenter by telling her why she doesn't dress up like this "every day for This Morning". Appearing slightly bleary eyed, the bubbly personality confessed she was "a little bit drunk".

"This is the first time I've been drunk this series," she told the audience and the rest of the celebrity line up, which included co-host Fearne Cotton and guests Cher Lloyd, Ben Shepherd, Gino D'Acampo and Joey Essex.

Holly, who was portraying Margot Robbie's infamous character, wore the trademark red and white baseball T-shirt with the words 'Daddy's Lil Monster' emblazoned across it while rocking high-ponytails with dip-dye along the ends, one side blue and the other pink.

Fans were quick to praise the star's drastic transformation, with one commenting: "You looked amazing, Holly even hotter than @MargotRobbie!"

"Thank you Holly, from the very bottom of my heart, for Harley Quinn. And it's not even my birthday," said one follower, while another noted: "no trick just pure treats tonight holly."

Last month, Holly took to her social media sites to tease an image of herself in costume, in the caption she wrote: "Just about to film @celebjuiceofficial Halloween special! #harleyquinn #suicidesquad ... thanks @angiesmithstyle and @patsyoneillmakeup xxxx."
