The Strictly Come Dancing star have opened up about their biggest fears in honour of the show's spookiest time of the series – Halloween week!

Contestant Greg Rutherford revealed that he truly hates spiders but doesn't want his son Milo to have the same fear as him, saying: "I like snakes, I like scorpions, I like lizards and I don't mind bugs, but spiders, I cannot stand spiders. I'm trying to instil in Milo that he likes spiders. He'll see me screaming and be like 'no, I don't like them'.

Greg revealed he hates spiders

"I've never had any bad experience with them at all but there is a picture of me at home somewhere stroking a tarantula when I was four at nursery for some reason."

Professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec also revealed he suffered from arachnophobia.

"I don't like spiders either. If I spot one in the bathroom coming up through the plug, Janette [Manrara] has to get rid of it," he joked.

Ore also revealed his biggest fears

Meanwhile, Ore Oduba also opened up about his biggest fear, joking: "Forget ghosts, ghouls and devils ... pigeons and seagulls are my hell."

Saturday night's show will be full of Halloween-themed dances, songs and costumes, and fan favourite Judge Rinder has already revealed that he will be dressed as a moth for the spooky episode. Chatting on It Takes Two, he revealed: "We're not taking a traditional approach to the Paso Doble, we're going to be a moth and a butterfly.

"But with the choreography I still try to stay as authentic and true to the dance... Tomorrow is my first flying lesson... I'm hoping it's going to be more moth and high-spirited than Ann Widdecombe but there you are."
