Week after week, Honey G has had the nation hooked with her unique style of rapping and unpredictable performances. Unfortunately for the X Factor hopeful, her dream of winning a record deal came crashing down after she was booted off the ITV show at the quarter-final stage on Sunday night.
In her first TV interview since being voted off, Honey G spoke to Lorraine about her plans to settle down as well as continuing with her career in the music industry. "I am looking for love, I really want to have kids soon," she said frankly. "I just really want to get a long term partner before I decide to have kids. Possibly, hopefully, marriage one day, who knows."
Honey G has revealed she is single and is looking for love
The controversial act - who was in the sing-off with boyband 5 After Midnight - talked about why she decided to enter the competition and her plans post X Factor. "The main reason why I entered X Factor was because I really want a record deal, I'm not really interested in anything else, apart from getting signed to get a record deal, obviously hopefully with Syco," she explained.
Despite the rap artist having a dedicated following, Honey G has been the subject of a lot of criticism this year. On handling the negative comments, the contestant said: "It's got to the point where if I see anything negative online now I don't bother clicking on the links because if I read anything I don't want to read it might upset me so I'm at the point now where I just don't take any notice of it anymore."

The 35-year-old also confessed that she wasn't looking to find fame, but was glad to make so many friends - in particular her mentor, Sharon Osbourne. "Sharon is probably one of the most unbelievable people I've ever met," she said, before adding: I'll never ever forget how good she's been to me. She sent me a message last night saying, 'that's it now, we're friends for life.'"
