Joel Dommett earned a new legion of female fans during his time onI'm A Celebrity – but, it seems, there is one lucky lady he already has his eye on. The comedian, who was the eventual runner-up on the show, opened up about mystery love interest during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Monday.
"We're not necessarily dating," Joel replied when asked his 'secret girlfriend' by hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan. "I just met someone I really like literally just before the show.

"It's difficult; my job, I'm away a lot, gigging all the time, I'm constantly touring, I'm making a TV show, I'm travelling a lot, so basically I had to say to her, I really like you but.. See you in March! And that's really difficult. But I'm really looking forward to seeing her when I get back to the UK."
Joel also opened up about his time on the show, and insisted he had no problem coming second to winner Scarlett Moffatt. "I'm not disappointed at all," he said. "It's fine. I came second – I haven't come second in anything ever! I'm over the moon."
He then admitted to Susanna and Piers that as soon as he had got back to the hotel having left the jungle he "ate two cheesecakes, hopped in the shower, and then had another one".

In his post-exit interview on Sunday night, Joel spoke to hosts Ant and Dec about his "incredible" Australian adventure. "I knew it was going to be a good experience but I didn't expect it to be this much of a good experience," he said. "I didn't know the highs would be so high and the lows so low."
Asked what he would miss about jungle life, he replied: "I think I’m going to miss just the simplicity of this and I think we talk a lot about his scary of is in the outside world – with news and social media – it's so simple in there."
