Joel Dommett may have started out as a relatively unknown TV star compared to his jungle campmates, but his appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has seen his popularity soar - so much so that he has decided to hone in on his privacy.
During a brief appearance on This Morning on Monday, the 30-year-old - who finished in second place - has revealed his plans to cull his Facebook friends and reduce the amount he uses his mobile phone when he returns back to normality. Joel Dommett has revealed he plans to cull some of his Facebook friends
"I've got my priorities straight I think in terms of what family I should spend more time with and what friends I should not have as friends anymore," he continued. "It's been great, I've culled so many Facebook friends since I got out, it's wonderful!" However, third-place runner-up Adam Thomas chimed in: "You've not been off it [mobile phone] since you've been out."
Talking about his experience with presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, the comedian revealed it was the upbeat friendly nature of this year’s campmates which kept him going till the end. "It was way more than I ever expected it to be," he explained. "I'm so glad that everybody got on and it was a harmonious year because I can't deal with conflict…. If I had to deal with the fear and the hunger and the being away from your family, plus not getting on with people, I think I would have walked."
