Following the shock deaths of EastEnders' Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell, grieving Jack Branning will be left stunned after he learns the real reason as to why they died. Fans of the BBC soap saw the pair meet a grisly end when they drowned in a swimming pool on Ronnie and Jack's New Year's Day wedding.
It has been revealed that Jack, played by Scott Maslen, will lose his temper when the Coroner's report reveals what really took the lives of his new bride and her younger sister, who is also the mother of his daughter Amy. Still coming to terms with recent events, Jack tries to go about his normal life by taking Amy and Ricky for the first day at their new school. Unable to fathom this, Glenda (Ronnie and Roxy's mother) tries to reason with him that it's too much for the children to carry on as if nothing has happened.

Jack Branning recently told Amy about Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell's death
Earlier this week, Jack was seen telling his loved ones - Dot, Max, Lauren and Abi - that he still plans to leave Walford after the funeral and move into his new house in Ongar. During a family dinner, he announced: "I can't do this. Everyone just going on pretending as if nothing's happened and it has. It's worse out there with people staring at me. Whatever happens in Walford, it's never really going to feel like home again, is it? I don't want people telling me what to do. This is about my kids. This is about protecting them. That's why I'm doing this. When this is done, me and the kids, we're moving to Ongar."

Rita added: "Thank you all for your lovely tweets. I don't really have words right now. But words will come.. in good time #R&R"
