London was thrown into chaos after the tube strike action went ahead on Sunday evening, which meant Rylan Clark-Neal had to present his This Morning segment from the back of a black cab after getting struck in traffic on Monday morning. Determined not to give up, the TV presenter improvised and used his mobile phone to give viewers the latest entertainment news.
Back in the studio, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield couldn't resist the urge to poke fun at the funny situation. The co-hosts joked about his absence by introducing a Rylan-shaped doll. "Are you okay Rylan? It looks like you've had a bit more work done over Christmas, you’re looking different to me" teased Holly, as she spoke to the plastic doll.

© Photo: ITV"So I'm going to try this from the back seat of a taxi," the real Rylan told viewers. Ahead of the segment, the 28-year-old took to Twitter to vent his frustration and warned fans that this could happen, tweeting: "I'm gonna have to do @thismorning from the car...... genuinely."
After he successfully spoke about last night’s Golden Globes, Holly was quick to praise the presenter for tuning in to do his segment. "Thank you and well done from a cab somewhere in London," she told him, to which Phil added: "You can turn around and go home now. I hope you tipped that driver!"
