HELLO! Editor-in-Chief Rosie Nixon and her friend and fashion designer Tabitha Webb hosted an exclusive screening of Natalie Portman's acclaimed new film JACKIE at the luxurious Bvlgari Hotel on Thursday night. The pair were joined by a host of VIP guests for the glamorous evening, including TV presenters Kate Silverton, Gina Hardy and Lucy Verasamy, First Dates star Cici Coleman and HELLO! blogger Zoe Onions, as well as our lucky competition winner Polly Burn.
The private event proved a hit as guests sipped on champagne and nibbled on canapés before heading into the screening room, where they were greeted with goodie bags before settling down to watch the highly-anticipated drama. "It was a thrill to host the second HELLO! Film Club with such a major movie as JACKIE," Rosie said after the screening. "Natalie Portman's portrayal of the former First Lady is hauntingly brilliant, it's no wonder she causing such a stir this awards season. I would highly recommend it to all our readers."
Meanwhile, Tabitha took to Twitter to celebrate the evening's success, writing: "Awesome night hosting our film club with @Rosie_Nixon and @hellomag – gorge to have @GinaHarding and @LucyWeather there with us! X"
JACKIE is an acclaimed biographical drama that tells the story of the 1963 assassination of John F Kennedy through the eyes of his wife, Jackie. Natalie, who was nominated for a Golden Globe following her stunning performance, stars in the titular role alongside Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Crudup and John Hurt in the film which is already set to be a major contender at this year's awards season.
JACKIE is out in UK cinemas on Friday, 20 January.
