Incredible guests performances, emotional speeches and incredible ensembles – this year's People's Choice Awards was certainly one to remember. Hundreds of A-List stars took to the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Here at HELLO! we take a look at some of the biggest highlights from the star-studded ceremony.

Johnny Depp's acceptance speech

Johnny Depp took the opportunity to thank the public for their support in the wake of his divorce from Amber Heard. The 53-year-old, who picked up the award for Favourite Movie Icon, revealed he attended the ceremony "for you, the people, who through whatever good times or bad have stood by me and trusted me". Johnny, who has picked up 13 People's Choice gongs in his lifetime, continued: "And you’ve graciously invited me here once again tonight, so I appreciate that so much. You have no idea how much I appreciate that. I was very deeply affected by the kindness of your recognition and by your well wishes to my family and myself, which is why it’s especially meaningful for me to be here in front of you to say thank you."

Blake Lively declares Ryan Reynolds is hers

Looking absolutely incredible as she took to the stage to pick up her award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress, Blake Lively - who plays a stranded surfer in The Shallows – paid tribute to her husband Ryan Reynolds, letting the world know he "belongs" to her. During her tongue-in-cheek speech, she said: "Thank you to my husband. He is everything to me. You can't have him he's mine!"

Ellen DeGeneres making history

Ellen DeGeneres received her record-breaking 20th People's Choice Award over a two-decade period. This year, the chat show host won three awards, including favourite daytime TV host, favourite animated movie voice and favourite comedic collaboration award. She told the audience: "This is amazing. Seventeen, I get. Eighteen, sure. Nineteen, I can see that. But 20 is outrageous…. This is really something that means more to me than [other awards] because it comes from the people. You are the people who are responsible for me being up here."

Fifth Harmony played as a four-piece for the first time

Fifth Harmony's made an amazing comeback as a four-piece. The awards show marks the first time the girls have performed without Camila Cabello, who left the group last year. They delighted crowd with their rendition of Work From Home.

Blake Shelton gushes over Gwen Stefani

As he accepted the award for Favourite Album and Favourite Male Country Artist, Blake Shelton gave a sweet shout-out to his stunning girlfriend Gwen Stefani. "I've got a lot of people to thank, to all the people that voted for me - thank you so much," he told the crowd. "And thanks the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, who is sitting out there." Blake, 40, was awarded for Favourite Album for his tenth studio album, If I'm Honest.
