Warning! Contains spoilers for Game of Thrones
Sophie Turner has revealed that she will be returning to the hit fantasy show Game of Thrones for its eighth and final season, meaning that her character Sansa Stark will most certainly survive the upcoming seventh series of the programme. Chatting to HeyUGuys on the BAFTA red carpet, the X Men: Apocalypse star spoke about her busy schedule, explaining: "We've just finished shooting season seven of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season eight. I've got a busy year lined up."

Fans were quick to discuss the news that one of the last remaining Stark siblings would live to see another season, with one writing: "So she won't die in season 7 woop woop," while another added: "Knowing who will survive in Game of Thrones is a big spoiler itself." However, not everyone was convinced that this meant Sansa would make it through season seven, with one noting: "It doesn't confirm that she'll survive season 7. She could be filming a flashback scene."
