Ola Jordan has revealed that her leg will "never be the same" following her freak accident on The Jump. The former Strictly Come Dancing star took part in the reality TV show in December 2014, but was forced to pull out due to a serious leg injury. More than two years later, Ola fears she has been left with permanent damage.

EXCLUSIVE: Ola talks about extent of her leg injury

"I still haven't recovered 100 per cent. My leg will never be the same," Ola told the Daily Star. "It's as good as it can get. I can do pretty much everything in the gym. But there will always be something niggling me in that leg." The professional dancer, 34, added: "It was horrible knowing I couldn't just get up and go to work. It was a really sad time for me. Obviously I'm really physical and really active and I didn't know how bad my leg was. All I could hear was 'you'll need 18 months of recovery'. And I needed to get back to Strictly. So it was hard mentally."

At the time, medics told Ola that she might not be able to walk again, let alone run or even dance. Thankfully, the Polish star made a recovery, with the help of her husband James. Speaking to the Sunday People, Ola recalled: "It's the worst thing we've ever been through. It was very hard. More so for James in some ways, seeing me upset and in pain." Her husband was also concerned that Ola's injury would jeopardise their careers. "Dancing is our life. It's our job, our livelihood," said James. "Ola is my right hand. We're a couple. We do shows together, I can't go and do one on my own."

Having recovered, Ola took part in another series of Strictly in 2015, but quit the show after she was eliminated. Fans went on to see her compete in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last Christmas.
