Jenna Coleman has given fans another sneak peek at the second series of Victoria. The 30-year-old, who plays a young Queen Victoria in the popular ITV period drama, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to share a tongue-in-cheek picture from location. The image sees the British actress dressed in costume while posing with a pair of chic Miu Miu sunglasses. In the caption, she wrote: "Back to work #trailerlife @miumiu @victoriaseries." Last month, Jenna shared another snap which saw her reunited with Almonzo, the white horse she was often spotted with in the first season of the hit show. She simply captioned the beautiful photo: "reunited".

Filming and production for the second instalment of Victoria kicked off earlier this year. Jenna, who rose to fame playing Clara Oswald in Doctor Who, stars as the fresh-faced Queen alongside real-life partner Tom Hughes, who appears as Prince Albert. Victoria became the new Sunday night prime-time drama last year - pulling in an average of 7.7 million viewers each week. The series was also dubbed the "next Downton Abbey", in part because it also follows the tradition of having a Christmas special.

Victoria's stylist gives us the lowdown
The biopic will continue to follow Victoria as she learns how to balance raising children with her duties as a wife and as a monarch. Screenwriter Daisy Goodwin told the Radio Times in October: "Even though she reigned in the 19th Century, Victoria is a heroine for our times. In the next series she faces the very modern dilemma of how to juggle children with her husband and her job. As Victoria will discover, it's hard to be a wife, a mother and ruler of the most powerful nation on earth!" Daisy, who studied the diaries of Queen Victoria at university, added that there is "no shortage of story" so fans could expect many more series to follow.
