The star referenced a famous quote from the series in her caption, writing: "Welcome to Nashville … This is how it's done in Tennessee," and fans were quick to discuss the reunion snap. One fan wrote: "wwwww i need to see one pic of you and Marissa," while another added: "From surfboards and sandals to geetars and cowboy boots." Luke also tweeted his excitement at being involved in the show, writing: "Can't wait to work with Rachel again... It's been a while! Welcome to Nashville... darlin'!" While the pair have kept relatively low profiles since completing The O.C., their co-star Mischa recently thanked fans for their support after making headlines following being admitted into hospital. "Thank you so much for all the love guys," she said. "It means the world to me. There is too much going on in the world so I appreciate this more than ever. From the bottom of my heart. We shall overcome."

She released a statement explaining why she had been admitted to People magazine. It read: "On the evening of the 25th, I went out with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. While having drinks, I realised that something was not right as my behaviour was becoming erratic and continued to intensify over the next several hours. I voluntarily went to get professional help, and I was informed by their staff that I had been given GHB. After an overnight stay, I am home and doing well. I would like to extend a big thanks of gratitude to the professionals at Cedars-Sinai for their great care and professionalism. This is a lesson to all young women out there, be aware of your surroundings."
