Kristen Bell has played fairy godmother to a high school student who lacked the courage to ask his crush out to prom. Stepping in for Jimmy Kimmel on his show on Thursday, the actress helped young Michael ask his classmate Sarah to be his date with an amazing Frozen-themed promposal. Sarah was sent out on a pretend scavenger hunt wearing an Anna costume, while her friend was secretly dressed as Kristoff.

The Hollywood star explained to the audience: "Now to make things more dramatic, Sarah and Michael have never been on a date before. Sarah has no idea Michael is asking her to prom. This could go terribly wrong, but you've got to admit it would make great TV, right?" After revealing Michael to Sarah, he turned towards her and said: "Sarah, there's something I wanted to ask you, but I didn't know the words, so Kristen Bell is going to help me."

Clearly shocked, Sarah listened as Kristen sang: "Sarah, I want you to think about this. Don't answer until I'm done singing… Do you want to be his prom date and go with Michael to the prom? He knows your just school buddies, he thinks you're really cute. He’s asking you to be his prom date, in front of millions of people…" She added: "But if you say no this will be awkward." Luckily for Michael, his crush immediately said yes! The students will both receive a stretch limo to their prom, and will get ready thanks to an incredible glam squad.
