The countdown is officially on. I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to screens on Sunday 19 November and fans just cannot wait. Popular duo Ant and Dec were pictured touching down in Australia over the weekend, laden with bags at Brisbane airport.

Ant, who spent two months in rehab battling an addiction to alcohol and prescription pills this year, told reporters he was "excited to be back". "I can't wait," he said. "It's going to be a good show. I'm feeling great. The flight was all right, I had a lot of sleep and me and Dec had a good catch-up."

Also pictured arriving Down Under was Jack Maynard, YouTube star and younger brother of singer Conor Maynard. The 22-year-old – who will celebrate his birthday while in the jungle, on 23 November – was spotted at the airport on Friday morning.

Speculation has been mounting in recent weeks as to who will be heading into the jungle this year, and while nothing has been confirmed yet by ITV, the various star sightings at the airport are no coincidence.

A host of celebrities have been pictured landing in Australia, including Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine, Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, boxer Amir Khan and Made in Chelsea's Georgia Toffolo.

Read on to see who's arrived!

Amir Khan

Amir Khan seemed to confirm his appearance on I'm a Celebrity after he was pictured arriving in Australia on Monday. The boxer, who has had marital problems with his pregnant wife Faryal, told the Sun on arrival: "I'll be training while I'm here. I'll probably go for nice jogs and try to keep out of trouble.

"I want to fight three times next year. King of the jungle? I dunno about that but king of the ring suits me better. I want to fight three times in 2018, starting in February, then again just before Ramadan." When asked if he will miss his daughter Lamaisah, three, he said: "I always miss my daughter whenever I am away, it is just going to be a nice break."

Jamie Lomas

Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas arrived in Oz on Saturday. The 42-year-old, who was previously married to Corrie's Kym Marsh, has been tipped to be a favourite with female campmates, with a source telling the Sun: "Jamie is a good-looking single guy so they are hoping sparks will fly with one of the single girls in the camp. There will be plenty of gorgeous girls in there he could end up hitting it off with. And the bosses know viewers love a jungle romance. Jamie is a really down-to-earth, funny bloke but also doesn't suffer fools. So they think he's a great signing."

Jennie McAlpine

Coronation Street favourite Jennie McAlpine was pictured touching down in Australia on Monday. The 33-year-old actress, who plays Fizz Brown in the ITV soap, is said to have been on the show's wish list for some time now, and Corrie bosses have reportedly rescheduled filming for Fizz's storyline to allow the star to take part in the competition.

Georgia Toffolo

Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo looked excited for her stint Down Under as she arrived in Brisbane on Sunday. The 22-year-old reality star recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating, and now seems ready for a brand new challenge. "Georgia has been signed up by ITV and will be the jungle's bikini babe this year," a source told the Sun. "And ITV has changed its policy on not having reality stars on the show as last year they didn't have any."

Stanley Johnson

Boris Johnson's father was the most surprising signing this year. The politician gave a thumbs-up as he was met by reporters in Australia and seemed excited for his stay in the jungle. At 77 years old, Stanley is so far the oldest of the contestants. ITV bosses are hoping he'll start political debates around the campfire.

Saturdays star Vanessa White made a glam arrival at Brisbane on Sunday, wearing a black floral summer dress. The star, who split from long-term boyfriend Gary Salter in April, is one of this year's most exciting signings. A source close to the star told the Sun: "Vanessa is a stunning girl from a massive girl band, so she's an exciting first signing for I'm a Celebrity. The bosses are super keen to have her."

Dennis Wise

Dennis Wise was also spotted arriving on Friday. The 50-year-old former footballer, who sports a black tracksuit, was seen pulling a large suitcase through the terminal. A source told The Sun: "Dennis was known for his competitive style on the pitch and bosses hope he will bring the same to the jungle. He doesn't mince words and will have a few opinions that'll make great telly."

However, when Dennis arrived at the airport, he coyly joked: "I'm visiting relatives. I've been to Australia before, but it was many years ago. I'm looking forward to getting a tan."
