Ant and Dec might have broken records by winning the Best Presenter award at the NTAs for the 17th time, but the pair very nearly didn't even make the ceremony! Tweeting from the car, Dec admitted that they were caught in traffic after a quick stop at Nandos, which meant they arrived at the 02 after the ceremony had already begun. He wrote: "Racing from film set to the #NTAs, scoffing down a quick @NandosUK on the way! Traffic is horrrrrrrrrrrendous. Hoping we get there before the end… Ooh the #NTAs have started and we're in a traffic jam. We're watching it on an iPad though, nice opening!"
Ant and Dec won three awards
When a fan asked how far away they were, he responded: "It's taken an hour and 3/4 to do eight miles! We're less than a mile away but chocka. Hopefully there in five." The pair took away three awards on the night, including the Challenge Show, The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award and Best Presenter.

An emotional Ant thanked his supporters
In one acceptance speech, an emotional Ant thanked voters for their support after a "tough 12 months", following his stay in rehab and split from his wife, Lisa Armstrong. He said: "Thank you very much, I'm shaking. It's been a very emotional night tonight. It's been quite a tough 12 months so winning this tonight really, really means a lot. I'd personally like to thank my all my family, all my friends. Some are here tonight. I love you, thank you very much. But thank you to all of you for your support. It really, really means the world. It's helped me get through. And thanks to you little guy! I love you man, thank you." Dec added: "It has been quite the year but this has really topped it off."
