The BBC has brought back its popular legal drama The Split for the second series and viewers are already hooked. The drama, starring Nicola Walker, Stephen Mangan and Donna Air, consists of six episodes centred on a family of lawyers and their professional and personal lives. Hannah and Nathan's marriage is tested once again in the second series
The Split season two sees family lawyer Hannah Stern return as one of the senior partners in the Noble Hale Defoe law firm. After the first series focused on the breakdown of her marriage to Nathan, played by Stephen Mangan, series two once again sees their marriage tested as Hannah embarks on an affair with her colleague and former lover Christie, played by Barry Atsma. But will Hannah stick to her marriage, or pursue new love? You'll have to watch to find out!

One of the stars, Stephen Mangan, took to Twitter to praise the BBC for releasing all the episodes on iPlayer. The actor, who has also starred in comedy shows such as Green Wing and Episodes, wrote: "Never been in a show that's dropped all in one go before. Fascinating to watch the staggered response as people binge on #TheSplit. Thank you for all yr [sic] kind messages. Loved making it." Many replied to Stephen's tweet praising his performance and the programme. One user wrote: "I loved the first series but this one beat it, surely there is another series in it. You were all brilliant but so sad at the end." While another said: "Had to binge watch #TheSplit Excellent all round. Thank you. Can't wait for series 3 now."
