The father and son are returning to screens for Jack Whitehall's Father's Day on BBC, in which the comedy star and his dad reunite (socially distanced of course) to reminisce and re-tell classic Whitehall tales, take part in a special Father's Day edition of MasterChef, and even surprise key workers who won't be with their loved ones on the special day this year.

Michael Whitehall career
The 80-year-old has worked as a TV producer, talent agent and writer throughout his professional career, and has worked with some of Hollywood's biggest names over the years.
After beginning his career as a film reporter, Michael went on to produce many shows such as TV film Bertie and Elizabeth, Noah's Ark and The Good Guys (both on ITV) and British thriller Element of Doubt.
Michael Whitehall has represented Colin Firth in the past
Working as a film and theatrical agent, Michael has represented huge names such as Richard E. Grant, Dame Judi Dench, Richard Griffiths and Colin Firth. The father-of-two is also a writer. His debut, a memoir called Shark Infested Waters: Tales of an Actor's Agent, was printed in 2007 and was hailed for its entertaining content.

Jack and his father began working on TV together in 2013 on the BBC Three chat show, Backchat. Thanks to its popularity, the father and son duo continued working together and went on to star in popular Netflix series, Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father – running for three series.

In 1969, Michael married in his first Jane McIntosh but divorced four years later. Afterwards, Michael married actress Hilary Gish, and the couple went on to welcome Jack, Molly and Barnaby.
