Fans of The Masked Singer have been getting their fix recently thanks to ITV have airing season two of the American version each week. The popular show, which began in South Korea before airing in the US and then UK, is the talent show with a twist that sees a number of celebrities hide their identities in weird and wonderful costumes as they compete in a singing contest.

Our very own version saw the likes of Katherine Jenkins, Kelis and CeeLo Green take part before Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts took the crown as winner. The six episodes in season two of The Masked Singer US has seen the audience and viewers at home being introduced to Egg, Butterfly, Thingamajig, Rottweiler, Tree, Ice Cream and more.

But not all of them managed to impress judges enough to carry on in the competition. So who has been revealed on the US version so far? Catch up on the details here…

Episode One: Egg and Ice Cream
Egg lost out was then revealed as figure skater and commentator Johnny Weir. The athlete is a two-time Olympian, a World Figure Skating Championship bronze medallist, and a Grand Prix Final bronze medallist. After his professional career he began commentating for NBC and worked at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Also during the first stage, in the group B round, Ice Cream was revealed as professional gamer Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins. Tyler is known for being a YouTube personality and streamer and has over 14 million followers online.
Episode Two: Panda
Panda was unveiled in episode two – revealing none other than Laila Ali, former professional boxer and daughter of sporting legend Muhammed Ali. During her career, the 42-year-old held multiple world championship titles and retired undefeated. Like father like daughter!

Episode Three: Eagle
Dr. Drew Pinksy was revealed as the celeb behind the Eagle mask in episode three. Drew has been a household name on US television since the early nineties with his own radio show and TV spin-offs. Some of his best known work includes: Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and talk show Dr. Drew On Call.

Skeleton was revealed as Paul Shaffer. Paul is Canadian singer, composer, actor and comedian who served as David Letterman's musical director. He's also known for his appearances on shows like Saturday Night Live and Late Night with David Letterman, and worked on Broadway shows.

Episode Five: Penguin
The fifth episode of the American talent show saw Penguin come in last place, meaning it was their turn to unmask. And underneath was comedian Sherri Shepherd! Sherri is best known for role as Ramona Platt in US sitcom Less than Perfect, and has also been co-host on The View in recent years.

Episode Six: Black Widow
Black Widow was unmasked in episode six, revealing none other than multi-talented performer Raven Symone! Viewers may recognise her from her hugely popular teen comedy series That's So Raven on Disney Channel, but Raven was also a child star, beginning her career at the age of four. After That's So Raven, she went on to appear in the Dr. Dolittle films, The Cheetah Girls and many more.

Episode Seven: Ladybug
Episode seven saw Ladybug come last in the singing contest and unmasked themselves to the panel. And behind the mask was singer, actress and media personality Kelly Osbourne! Being the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly is used to being in the public eye all her life and is perhaps best known for starring in The Osbournes with her other family members. She has also been a judge on Australia's Got Talent, has appeared on Dancing With the Stars, and presented many other popular shows like E!'s Fashion Police.

Who are the other costumes on The Masked Singer US?
The other masks yet to reveal their hidden celebrity are: Rottweiler; Tree; Ladybug; Skeleton; Thingamajig; Butterfly; Flower; Leopard; Flamingo; Fox. Given the second season of the show first aired in September 2019, the celebrities have all been revealed. However, we wouldn't want to ruin the fun, so no spoilers here – but the group of celebrities boast many awards and credentials between them from the world of sport, entertainment and more; these include: 69 Emmy Award nominations, 42 Grammy Award nominations, 22 Broadway shows and two Time 100 honours.
