This latest offering, His House, stars Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Wunmi Mosaku and The Crown's Matt Smith and follows a refugee couple from war-torn South Sudan who begin to realise something supernatural is happening in their government-appointed home in a small English town. Watch the trailer here...

This isn't the only scary film or show coming to Netflix this month, as the much-anticipated sequel to The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, will be coming to the streaming service. In the show, a young American woman with a mysterious past becomes the au pair for two strange children in the English countryside.

Despite thinking she is in paradise, all is not as it seems at the manor, and centuries of dark secrets of love and loss are waiting to be unearthed. As the synopsis reads: "At Bly Manor, dead doesn’t mean gone." Eek!
