Clara Amfo and Aljaž Škorjanec

It's official: Clara and Aljaž are going to be dancing side-by-side this year!

The BBC Radio 1 DJ looked thrilled as her partner was read out, and it's clear why – no one moves quite like Aljaž!

Speaking on Greg James' Breakfast Show last month, Clara revealed that she's  hoping her time on the show will be a bit of "escapism" for her.

"As we know this year has been a real challenge and escapism through dancing is something I know we all enjoy, so to be taught by a pro and live a fantasy is something that I can’t wait to fully embrace, see you on the dancefloor!" she said.

Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice

You heard right, Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice have been paired up for Strictly 2020!

It's a match made in heaven if you ask us.

Ranvir made a hilarious comment on Good Morning Britain about her dancing skills last month after Piers Morgan asked her: "Can you dance?"

Ranvir responded: "I don't know, we'll find out. I've danced at weddings. I am very thrilled to be on it, I'm worried about the sleep deprivation."

Don't worry, Ranvir, Giovanni will have you in tip-top shape in no time!

HRVY and Janette Manrara

HRVY and Janette! We can't think of a better combo.

We imagine the popstar is over the moon to be paired with the Strictly favourite, especially since his time on the BBC show was almost cut short after he tested positive for coronavirus last month.

Thankfully, he later tested negative in October, writing on Instagram: "He's free from Covid, he's a free elf now, tested negative. Thank you for all the kind messages, love you guys so much, stay safe and see you soon."

Jason Bell and Luba Mushtuk

We know that Jason Bell is a superstar on the American football pitch, but how well will he fare on the Strictly dancefloor? Well, it's now officially up to Luba Mushtuk to make sure the famous athlete puts his best foot forward!

Jacqui Smith and Anton Du Beke

Former Labour MP and Home Secretary Jacqui Smith will be taking to the ballroom floor with Anton!

When it was announced the politician would be joining the BBC show, Jacqui, who served as Home Secretary under Gordon Brown from 2007 to 2009, said: "I was speechless with excitement at being asked to join Strictly – and that’s very rare for me. Fifty years ago, I got a bronze medal for Scottish Highland Dancing and it feels about time to return to dancing."

Nicola Adams and Katya Jones

Olympic boxer Nicola Adams will be dancing with Katya Jones this year!

It was announced earlier this month that the athlete would make history by being one half of Strictly's first ever same-sex pairing, and the gold-medallist opened up to HELLO! and other press about the real reasons she wanted to be part of the first all-female partnership in October.

She said: "I didn't see what the big deal would be pairing with another female. I mean, we go to nightclubs. That's where girls dance with girls all the time, like professional dancers dance with girls all the time. So I don't think it's a big deal."

Maisie Smith and Gorka Marquez

We are so excited to hear that Maisie will be working with Gorka on this year's Strictly!

The actress, who plays Tiffany Butcher-Baker in EastEnders, is clearly thrilled to be joining the team, previously saying: "Get me in those sequins, I can't wait to dive into the Strictly fancy dress box this winter! This is a dream come true."

JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden

We were over the moon when we heard that TV presenter JJ Chalmers was taking part in this year's Strictly, and we're even happier now that we know he'll be Cha-Cha-Cha-ing with none other than Amy Dowden!

We wonder what JJ's good friend Prince Harry thinks of the pairing!

Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse

Comedian and actor Bill Bailey has been partnered with Oti Mabuse, and both looked delighted as the news was announced.

Speaking about taking part in the iconic show in September, Bill said: "These are strange times we're living through, it feels right to do something different and take on a new challenge.

"So I am delighted to be a part of this year's unique Strictly Come Dancing. My late mum Madrin would have loved it - I hope she'll be watching."

Max George and Dianne Buswell

Heartthrob Max George will be dancing with Dianne Buswell!

We think they're the perfect fit, and seeing as The Wanted star spent years working up a sweat on stage, we're sure Dianne's going to help take his talent to a whole new level.

Caroline Quentin and Johannes Radebe

Did someone say Caroline Quentin and Johannes Radebe?

That's right! The 60-year-old actress will be under the show-stopping teachings of Johannes this season, and we're sure the pair are going to rustle up some serious magic in the weeks to come. Watch this space!

Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer

MIC's Jamie was paired with Oti Mabuse on last year's Strictly, before dropping out due to injury. But this year, he'll be strutting his stuff alongside none other than Karen Hauer – how exciting!
