Don't Rock the Boat star AJ Odudu reveals how show made her cry

AJ Odudu has been doing an amazing job hosting ITV'S new reality show Don't Rock the Boat, and she recently revealed how the presenting role made her cry!

Chatting to HELLO!, the TV personality revealed that she cried when she first saw a billboard promoting the show, explaining: "The first time I saw the billboard I cried! I’m not ashamed to say that either.

"To see me up there, along with such huge ITV stars, all of whom I look up to and have watched on my TV screen for years was such a special moment. It will never get old for me, I’ve worked so hard to get here and I’m enjoying everything about it."

Have you been enjoying the show so far?

AJ, who has previously hosted Big Brother's Bit on the Side, also shared a snap of her niece and nephew looking at the poster on Twitter, and explained: "My sister-in-law sent it to me and it had to go straight on my Instagram wall, how cute do they look?!

"In all seriousness, it’s such a proud moment for my family and I – they’ve supported my TV career since day one and have been my biggest champions. To see the young generation of the family see their Aunty on a big TV show is a huge moment for me."

At the time, she wrote: "OMG my sister-in-law treated (/tortured) my niece & nephew with a trip to their local billboard! So fun that I get to hang out with the fam like this. How frikkin' CUTE!" 

AJ also recently took part in a photo series called, I Can I Am & I Will, founded by Louis Bryne. She explained: "Louis is someone who really champions growth and elevates those around him by telling their stories. I feel at ease around him as you can see in this pic and I hope that other people, especially women, can feel exactly the same."
