Noel and Rahul have built up a close friendship from the show
Rahul, who won the show back in 2018, appeared for the 2021 special alongside other Bake Off alumni, including Helena from the 2019 series, Nancy from 2014 and Henry from 2019. But in the end, after winning over judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, it was Rahul who was victorious once again.
After winning his new title, Rahul told viewers: "I want to dedicate this to all the 132 bakers that have been on Bake Off so far. It belongs to all of you, because I learnt a lot from every single one of you. Without them, there is not a Bake Off family, and they make me feel fulfilled. They become my family, my friends. I bake to make people happy, and I'll keep doing it."
