The new year has got off to a very good start for Dermot O'Leary's wife, Dee Koppang! The talented director and producer has taken to Instagram to celebrate the huge success of hit Netflix period drama, Bridgerton. Dee, 42, worked as a second unit director on the series.

In her latest post, Dee shared an announcement from Netflix, which confirmed: "In its first four weeks, Bridgerton is projected to court more than 63million households, which would make it Netflix's fifth biggest original series launched to date." "Holy moly…." Dee simply wrote in her caption.

At the weekend, Dee shared a behind-the-scenes snapshot from the show, showing her kneeling down and talking to actress Golda Rosheuvel, who stars as Queen Charlotte.

She wrote: "Big love to all my @bridgertonnetflix family... Had the most amazing year working on it... Major shout out to the wonderful cast and ace crew. And special love to my Whistledown Unit."
It's an exciting time in the Koppang/O’Leary household. While Dee celebrates the success of her show, husband Dermot is gearing up for a brand new role, co-hosting This Morning every Friday.

ITV confirmed in February that veteran hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford would be replaced by Dermot and Alison Hammond, starting in 2021.
At the time, the former X Factor presenter said he was "deeply thrilled and honoured" to be joining the team on a more regular basis.

"We have huge shoes to fill and we are well aware what a privilege it is to be stepping into them," Dermot, 47, said. "Above all, we want to have fun and for you to be able to kick your weekend off with a smile, especially given the year we've all had. So I'm delighted to be co-hosting with the living embodiment of sunshine on a rainy day. I can't wait to get started."
