In Bridgerton, Ben plays Lord Featherington, the head of the Featherington family. He has three daughters who are all due to marry that year, but it's his wife, Lady Portia Featherington, who tends to do the heavy lifting when it comes to sorting out their daughters.
Fans of Death in Paradise will know and love Ben from his time back on the BBC show playing the lead DI Poole from series one in 2011 until his departure at the end of series two in 2014.
His character was murdered on the show leaving viewers to think he would never return; however, it wasn't the end of his time in Saint Marie as he is set to make a comeback on the programme's upcoming tenth season.

It's not yet confirmed how DI Poole will be brought back to the show, but Ben has teased potential options and even responded to fan's theories about his return.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain in December, the actor told presenters Alex Beresford and Charlotte Hawkins: "We're very lucky to have a great number of old fans of Death in Paradise and there's been a lot of speculation [from them]. The one I liked was that I'm coming back as a zombie!"
He added: "I thought he was gone for good [too] … No one was more surprised than me when a script-writer [told me]. It's very cleverly done, I have to say, it's beautifully done."
