The Chase stars Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty and Shaun Wallace are about to star in a new show which will show a very different side to the talented trio!

In the new series, The Chaser's Road Trip: Trains, Brains and Automobiles, the expert quizzers will be travelling the world to test their knowledge again artificial intelligence, child geniuses and many more. Mark Labbett
Mark hails from Devon, and has a MA in maths as well as a PGCE. He worked as a maths and PE supply teacher before getting involved in quizzing. He has appeared on Mastermind twice, with Olympics and The Simpsons as his specialist subjects. He has also appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and won £32,000 on the show.
Mark is ranked 89th in the World Quizzing Championships
He is currently ranked 89th in the World Quizzing Championships. He has been married to his wife, Kate, since 2013 and the pair share one son.

Anne Hegerty
Anne lives in Westminster and, like Mark, has appeared on a number of quiz shows including Mastermind, Are You an Egghead? and Brain of Britain. Although she hasn't appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, she was a 'phone a friend' option for her pal who appeared on the show, and helped her answer the question correctly. She also notably starred in 2018's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

Anne also has Asperger syndrome, and opened up about it on the reality show, saying: "I didn't raise the autism issue... I try not to do that. But if someone else raises it I make it clear I'm happy to talk about it. I really appreciate how nice and sympathetic they've been to me and how supportive they are. And it's nice they say I pick up social cues because I'm never quite sure that I entirely do."

Shaun Wallace
Shaun lives in London, and is a barrister and lecturer on top of his TV presenting duties, impressive! Like Anne and Mark, he has appeared on mAstermind, with FA Cup Finals as his specialist subject. He has also appeared on The Weakest Link, Are You an Egghead? and Fifteen to One.

He previously opened up about his work as a barrister to Quiz Genius, saying: "I've wanted to be a lawyer since the age of 11. I then wrote to the Inns of Court as a 12-year-old on becoming a barrister and I kept their reply for many years as a source of inspiration."
