Chicago Fire fans - and specifically Stellaride fans - get ready, as we're sorry to say that it looks like things are getting rocky for everyone's favourite firefighting couple, played by Miranda Rae Mayo and Taylor Kinney.

In the trailer for this week's episode, the couple who only just reunited following Kidd's months-long absence from Firehouse 51, are seen having a long, hard chat about their relationship in the loft. Check it out below...

The 30-second video shows Severide and Kidd having a tense conversation following Kidd's surprise return to Chicago. As fans will recall, Kidd has been largely absent from the first half of season ten as she has been launching her Girls on Fire program in Boston. After going radio silent on Severide for days, she unexpectedly turned up at the loft in the show's midseason premiere.

"You just stopped calling me back. You just left," a frustrated Severide says in the clip, to which Kidd replies: "I screwed up. I panicked because I don't need to lock my future down just yet."

"Were you with someone else?" Severide then asks, but we don't see Kidds's answer and a long silence lingers between the pair.

So is their engagement - and whole relationship - going to be called off? We'll have to wait and see what the latest episode holds, but fans need not worry about actress Miranda's future on the show as she has confirmed that she's here to stay.
Asked by CinemaBlend whether she will be sticking around for the rest of season ten, she enthusiastically replied: "Hell yeah!" adding that her character is "back in action".
