Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have made an "exciting family announcement" on Instagram - and fans are over the moon!

The Channel 4 stars revealed that the family of four are taking their successful Dare to Do It tour to Australia and New Zealand early next year.

Sharing a promotion photo for the tour which sees the parents looking glammed up, they posted the following message: "BIG NEWS from the Strawbridges!! Exciting Family Announcement!
"We are coming to Australia & New Zealand with our 'Dare to Do It' Tour!
"In February 2023 all four of us will be leaving The Chateau on a 'jet plane' with Grandma and Papi and coming to see you! Australia and New Zealand were the first overseas countries to adopt 'Escape to the Chateau' and follow our adventures, which we really appreciate!!

"We cannot wait to come and say hello in person, thank you for the love, have a giggle, and maybe even a drink!"
The family are taking their tour to Australia and New Zealand
They continued: "It's an honour to have the opportunity to embark on this adventure, and we cannot wait….we are all crazily excited, it's in our chats every day, and Dorothy has already started planning outfits - for everyone!
"For one week only, until the 22nd August, everyone that we are 'in contact' with can purchase tickets on pre-sale. That means you get the first choice of seats before they are offered to everyone else."
Fans were overjoyed with the news and took to the comments section. One person wrote: "This has made my day! You're coming to my home town!" while another added: "So amazing, we absolutely love watching Escape to the Chateau. We will def be getting tickets how exciting."

The family embarked on their UK tour back in February this year and spent six weeks travelling the length and breadth of the country to share their stories about renovating their home in France.
Their previous tour saw the couple perform in venues around England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
