Prince William has spoken out in a public address for the first time since Her Majesty the Queen's funeral on Monday. The Prince of Wales recorded a message for the Earthshot Prize Summit, which took place in New York this week, after the royal cancelled his appearance at the event following the Queen's death. [audio here] William explained that while it was due to the sad circumstances that he could not join them, he took great comfort in the summit's enthusiasm and optimism towards tackling climate change. The Prince also added in his speech that the late monarch was also passionate about protecting the environment, before adding that he and his wife Kate were so excited about attending the next summit in Boston in December.
Melanie C has given an update on a previously reported Spice Girls reunion but fans might be disappointed. The singer, who is also known as Sporty Spice, appeared on the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show when she exaplained how she wishes there were shows in the pipeline, but that they weren't arranged yet. however, it's not all bad news as the singer did say it's something she and the other members of the girl band are trying to work out. Ye has publicly apologised to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in an upcoming interview on Good Morning America. The rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, will feature in a sit down with Linsey Davis on the breakfast programme's episode on Thursday to discuss his divorce, family and politics. The American broadcaster put out a teaser clip ahead of the airing which sees Ye offer his apology to Kim for any stress that he has caused. Kim, who shares four children with the Grammy-winning rapper, filed for divorce in 2021.
Olivia Wilde has once again spoken out about the ongoing controversy surrounding her new film Don't Worry Darling. The actress and director appeared on this week's episode of Stephen Colbert when she addressed the alleged fallout between her and leading star of the movie, Florence Pugh, stating she has "nothing but respect for Florence". Olivia also addressed the viral video which fans suggested showed Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine at the Venice film premiere, which those involved have denied. However, Olivia saw the funny side and said it was a case of people seeing what they want to see.
Speaking of Olivia and Harry Styles, the director joined the Don't Worry Darling actor at his final show at Madison Square Garden where he has finished a historic 15-show run. The singer celebrated in style by lifting a banner commemorating his 15-date residency at the New York venue, which was a part of his mammoth Love on Tour string of shows. Meanwhile, Olivia and Harry's new film, Don't Worry Darling, will land in cinemas everywhere on Friday.
