"No. I'm done," Meghan asserted. "I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not." The royal then opened up about her experience in the acting industry speaking about the "toxicity" which occurs, and how she felt "convinced" she would not stay on Suits after being cast as Rachel Zane.

"The industry has shifted quite a bit since I was a part of it," she said. "For me, I had tried for so long to land on a show, filming all these pilots, wondering if they would get picked up," Meghan explained to the publication.

The Duchess of Sussex left the show in 2018

"All of Season 1 on Suits, I was convinced I was going to get recast. All the time. It got to a point where the creator was like, 'Why are you so worried about this?'"

Meghan, along with her husband Prince Harry, is currently working on a documentary project under their company, Archewell. The royal couple, who share three-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet, relocated to Montecito, California in 2020 before setting up the company.

The royal is currently working on a Netflix documentary

Since then, they've struck deals with Netflix and Spotify, the latter of whom is publishing Meghan's weekly podcast series, Archetypes. For their Netflix docuseries, the couple have been working with director Liz Garbus, a project Meghan described as "so amazing."

"It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I've long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. But that's not why we're telling it. We're trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens."
