Everything Everywhere All At Once swept up
With seven Oscar wins including the most-coveted statuette for Best Picture, Everything Everywhere All At Once absolutely swept up at the Academy Awards and proved that they really were everything, everywhere, all at once!
Backstage Ke Huy Quan revealed he "ran up to Steven Spielberg, and he gave me a big hug and he said, 'Ke, you are now an Oscar-winning actor,' and hearing him say that meant the world to me".
"Goonies never say die!" he then quipped - and that's our night made.
Michelle Yeoh is an Academy Award winner
Michelle said her Oscar was a "beacon of hope" for little girls who look like her, adding: "Ladies, don't let anyone tell you that you are past your prime. Never give up." She also dedicated her award to her mom, and other "superhero" moms. Amazing, iconic, she is the moment, I am so sleep-deprived!
Check out her amazing full speech here.
Brendan Fraser overcome with emotion as he wins Best Actor
Brendan was close to tears during his Oscars acceptance speech, where he spoke about his dip in Hollywood to his triumphant return with his role in The Whale. To his fellow nominees, including Austin Butler and Colin Farrell, he said: "It is my honor to be named alongside you in this category."
John Travolta in tears as he presents In Memoriam segment
John struggled to complete his speech ahead of the in memoriam segment of the Academy Awards after referencing Olivia Newton-John, his Grease co-star who sadly passed away in August 2022. He concluded his talk by saying that they will remember those "who we will remain hopelessly devoted to". Lenny Kravitz performed for the touching segment, watch is here...

Rihanna shows baby bump in emotional performance
Rihanna took to the stage at the Oscars to perform her song from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and looked positively glowing while showing off her baby bump in a stunning black gown with silver embellishments. See more about her amazing performance here.
Elizabeth Banks has no voice and tripped up
The poor director of Cocaine Bear wasn't having the time of her life on stage at the Oscars: while entering, she tripped and nearly tumbled onstage; once at the mic, it was clear she'd lost her voice and struggled to get through her bit alongside a person in a bear costume. The show also cut the winners of visual effects for Avatar 2 short - before they had a chance to thank their families. Eek.
Four Weddings and a Funeral reunion
Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowall reunited while presenting an award, with Hugh joking about the 'difference' between how the pair had aged since they made Four Weddings and a Funeral together back in 1994. According to the actor, it was a testament to the importance of moisturiser.
What a reunion!
Lady Gaga in tears during performance
Lady Gaga bizarrely swapped out from her gown and glamour into a stripped-back, fresh-faced look in a dark grey T-shirt as she performed Hold My Hand at the Oscars, telling the audience: "You might find that you can be your own hero, even if you feel broken inside." She looked on the verge of tears as she began her emotional song, with fans calling the performance "very special".

We're back in the winners' room, this time with incredible costume designer Ruth E. Carter who won a statue for her amazing costumes in Black Panther 2. Chatting about the designs, Ruth was full of praise for Angela Bassett, saying: "Angela has those guns, so we exposed the arms."
Congratulations to Ruth!

He is presenting the award for Animated Short Film alongside Elizabeth Olsen. Nothing controversial has happened but I just thought you should know.

Hugh Grant's awkward red carpet interview
Pre-awards ceremony, poor ABC pre-show presenter Ashley Graham tried to her best to interview Hugh Grant, who didn't seem quite in the mood for a chat. Check out the moment here and feel free to send Ashley some love.
What did you make of the awkward exchange?
Performance of iconic Naatu Naatu performance
If you know, you know. Netflix's hugely popular movie RRR has been nominated for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu, and the audience was treated to a vibrant performance of the all-singing, all-dancing number - and it was SO GOOD. Discussing the performance, one Twitter user wrote: "Without a shred of exaggeration, there has NEVER BEEN nor will there EVER BE a live Oscars performance that will top Naatu Naatu. WOW." Watch it here and see for yourself!

The Little Mermaid's new trailer
For fans of the Disney movie, we have been treated to a new trailer for the upcoming live-action version of the classic, and this time it's all about Prince Eric's rescue by Ariel - and the fall out from her heroics with her father, King Triton. Even though fans were disappointed when Harry Styles ultimately didn't end up playing the Prince, we think Jonah Hauer-King is going to do an amazing job! Find out more and check out the trailer here.
Halle Bailey plays Ariel
Guillermo Del Toro in the winner's room
We're in the winner's room, where Guillermo is celebrating his win for Best Animated Feature! Chatting about the win, he said: "There is not a single win, we have to organize as a community and have a dialogue with the guilds and academy, this is an art form that's been kept in the kids stable for so long, and it is a mature and expressive beautiful complex art form."
The Oscars audience sings happy birthday
Aw! To celebrate actor James Martin's birthday, the winners of best live short film An Irish Goodbye led the whole audience in a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday to the talented star. Imagine having your birthday celebrated by Hollywood's biggest stars plus millions of viewers worldwide! Most definitely one to remember, and many happy returns James!

Referred to as a "skirmish", funnyman Jimmy Kimmel once again referenced the Chris Rock, Will Smith slap. Drink!
Jamie Lee 'we just won an Oscar' Curtis!
Jamie Lee Curtis won an Oscar, and her speech was amazing! Her whole cast and crew won an Oscar! Her parents and sister won an Oscar! I feel like *I've* just won an Oscar! Congrats to the ultimate Nepo baby on the incredible achievement!
I can't believe we all just won an Oscar!
Ke Huy Quan's emotional speech

Ke Huy Quan incredible speech has us all in tears
All of the nominations are back in
The host confirmed that all of the Oscars nominations will be included in the telecast, as last year they missed out on televising several of award wins. While we're delighted that everyone will be getting the recognition that they deserve, buckle up chaps as this is gonna be a long show. Jimmy also pointed out that if winners take too long with their speeches, they will be danced off a la RRR's Naatu Naatu dance.

Jimmy chats Will Smith slap
Whey! It happened! If you're playing a drinking game for this Academy Awards, take a shot now because Jimmy just poked fun at Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, suggesting that he wants to feel safe during the show since last time the Academy did "absolutely nothing".
WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel riffs on Will Smith's infamous slap at the Oscars
He said: "If anyone commits any act of violence, you will be awarded best actor and permitted to give a 19-minute long speech. But seriously, if anything unpredictable or violent happens do what you did last year; nothing. Maybe give the assailant a hug."
Jimmy Kimmel addressing snubs
In a somewhat unusual move, Jimmy's opening monologue included a shout-out to Viola Davies and Danielle Deadwyler for their performances in The Woman King and Till, praising the incredible movies while noting that they weren't recognised by the academy for the Best Actress accolade.
Did you enjoy Jimmy's opening monologue?
Jimmy's memorable entrance
And we're off! Jimmy Kimmel 'parachuted' onto the Oscars stage in a homage to Top Gun: Maverick, before launching into his opening monologue where he teased Nicole Kidman's movie theatre advert, questioned Seth Rogan about his drug use and celebrated Stephen Spielberg's incredible achievement of being nominated at least once over six decades. His opening monologue was both sweet and memorable.
