The BBC's new police drama Blue Lights premiered on Monday night and while most viewers were hooked, others couldn't help but point out a glaring blunder.

The six-part series follows three rookie police officers working in Belfast, a city that comes with its own unique pressures and challenges.

At the end of the episode, viewers noticed that Sian Brooke's character, Grace Ellis, was initially shown driving an Audi but in the next scene, which took place inside the car, the steering wheel's logo was that of a Skoda vehicle. Watch the moment in the video below.

Taking to Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers commented on the error, with one person writing: "Towards the end one minute it's an Audi in the rain next minute they are in a Skoda, then when you see it drive off it's an Audi again! That was a second-rate afternoon show at best. Not good @BBCOne," while another added: "#BlueLights. So picked up in an Audi. Which turns out to be a Skoda on the drop off… TV bloopers at its best."

A third person tweeted: "One minute she's driving an Audi, next it's a Skoda????" while another commented: "Inside the car is a Skoda but outside it's an Audi."

Binged #TheResponder over the weekend and just discovered #Bluelights tonight which opened with an excellent first episode."
