Former Silent Witness star Jason Wong has said he would "love" to return to the long-running BBC show in the future.
The actor, who played Dr Adam Yuen in series 24, caught up with HELLO! at the UK premiere of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves in Leicester Square on Thursday, in which he plays warrior villain Dralas.
Dr Adam was killed off after four episodes in a shocking storyline that saw the pathologist brutally run over by twisted killer, Professor Alan Cowley. Adam became a threat to Cowley after discovering that he was behind the murders of Wilfred Okoye and Dr Emily Braithwaite. Watch the dramatic moment in the video below...
When asked if he was surprised about Adam's death or if he was ready to wrap up the storyline, Jason said: "I was ready for that," before admitting that he only discovered Adam's fate when he read the script. "When I first auditioned I didn't know and then when I got the re-writes and I read it again and I went, 'Oh! He dies!'"
"But it was fine," the 37-year-old continued. "For me, it was also interesting to see how I could get the story arc within those four episodes. [To] have people like me and then have people cry for me, that was a challenge in itself."

On whether he would return to the show as a ghost or in a flashback scene, Jason said: "I would love to. I would never say no to Silent Witness, especially with Emilia Fox and David Caves, they are very dear to my heart and that show is very dear to my heart."
Jason clearly formed a close bond with co-stars while on the show and went on to praise Emilia: "She is amazing, she's been a great mentor for me anyway so I have a lot of affection and love for Emilia Fox, she's the best."
