BBC Breakfast star Jon Kay was absent from the red sofa on Wednesday for the third morning in a row.
The host, who usually fronts the current affairs programme from Monday to Wednesday each week alongside Sally Nugent, was replaced by relief presenter Ben Thompson, who stepped in for the journalist.
While Jon has yet to address the reason behind his absence, it's possible that he's simply taking some time off to spend with his family.

Although the star tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, fans will be able to stay up to date with the latest news from Jon thanks to his new Instagram account, which he set up last week.
In his first post to the social media platform, he shared a snap showing the 53-year-old sitting next to his co-host Sally on the iconic Breakfast sofa. The caption read: "Thank you for joining us on #bbcbreakfast this week. @sallynugenttv tells me I need to 'do' insta. So here I am!"
Fans expressed their delight in the comments section, with one person writing: "Good to see more of you on social media, Jon."
Sally also reacted to the post, commenting: "At last!!", adding three applause emojis.
Jon isn't the only presenter who has been absent from the show in recent weeks. Last Monday, both Jon and weather presenter Carol Kirkwood were missing from the programme, with Ben standing in for the former and Matt Taylor replacing the latter.
Naga Munchetty was also nowhere to be seen for a brief period earlier this month. The broadcaster, who usually fronts the programme from Thursday to Saturday alongside co-host Charlie Stayt, was away from her usual spot on the sofa for three weeks.
Thankfully, Nina Warhurst, who recently announced her third pregnancy, was on hand to step in for the star.
