Happy Valley might be done and dusted but fans can look forward to seeing one of the show's stars appearing in a brand new Netflix drama alongside Richard Armitage.
Charlie Murphy, who portrayed Ann Gallagher in the BBC crime series, is playing the lead actress role in Obsession, which is due to land on the streaming platform next month. Charlie will be playing Anna opposite the Stay Close actor, who portrays her lover, William.
The new series is described as an "erotic thriller" and, judging by the trailer, it looks like it's going to be a thoroughly gripping yet racy watch! Check out the video below to see the trailer for Obsession.
Obsession focuses on William and Anna's intense and intimate relationship after the pair begin an affair – but the complexities don't stop there. Anna is the fiancée of William's son, Jay, but after William and Anna are first introduced, sparks immediately start to fly.
As the synopsis for the four-part series explains: "An intense affair between a talented surgeon (Richard Armitage) and his son's fiancée (Charlie Murphy) spirals into a dangerous, all-consuming obsession, with devastating consequences for the whole family."

After the official trailer was released, fans were quick to react. One person wrote: "Richard Armitage is too beautiful I cannot even breathe." A second added: "I will be tuned in and watching!", as a third said: "Damn this is giving me a hunger I didn't know I needed."
Before her role in Obsession, Charlie was perhaps best known for her role as Ann Gallagher in Happy Valley, which also starred Sarah Lancashire and James Norton. Charlie's previous credits also include Peaky Blinders, The Capture and Rebellion.
Obsession will land on Netflix on April 13.
