Call the Midwife star Zephryn Taitte’s future on the hit BBC show has been left in doubt following the exit of his on-screen wife Lucille, played by Leonie Elliot. However, in a recent post, it appears that the star will indeed be returning for season 13 - and we couldn’t be happier!

Zephryn Taitte, who plays Cyril on the beloved BBC drama, is currently starring in Trouble in Bute Town at London’s Donmar Warehouse Theatre, and it was recently revealed that members of the cast went to see the play and support their co-star and friend before they returned to filming in May.

The team were joined by Executive Producer Dame Pippa Harris (photo, left) and all report that Zeph was wonderful!"
