Suranne Jones is set to star in a brand new upcoming ITV series, and it's out sooner than you think. The Gentleman Jack actress, who is adored for her many big parts in popular TV series, will be leading the cast of Maryland – a new show which focuses on the bond between two sisters.
The Doctor Foster star is taking on the role of Becca, a mother-of-two, opposite House of the Dragon and Nurse Jackie actor Eve Best, who plays her sister, Rosaline.
Fans won't have to wait long for the drama to appear on their screens as it's due to land on ITV and ITVX in May.
As the ITV synopsis states, Maryland focuses on "the relationship between two sisters, down-to-earth mother of two Becca and disciplined high-flyer Rosaline who have been driven apart by complex family dynamics. But when the body of an older woman is discovered at sunrise on Laxey Beach in the Isle of Man, it brings devastating news for the sisters."
