Kate Bosworth and Justin Long
Kate Bosworth and Justin Long are officially couple goals! Since meeting on the set of House of Darkness in 2021, the co-stars have continued to go from strength to strength, with Justin calling Kate "the one."
After going public with their relationship, the pair have been inseparable and are often spotted strolling around the streets of New York or attending red carpet events. In January 2023, Justin penned the sweetest birthday message to his girlfriend, in which he called her "the best part of my day, everyday - even when we're not together" and the "most beautiful human being I've ever seen."
In April of that year, the couple confirmed their engagement on Justin's podcast, Life Is Short. While neither Kate nor Justin have ever shared photos or information about their nuptials, in May 2023, the Barbarian star referred to her as his "now-wife," leading fans to believe that they may already be married.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are one of Hollywood's favourite couples, and it all started on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010. While the pair were never romantically involved during filming (they were both in relationships at the time) they developed a sweet friendship that would later blossom into something more.
Back in 2016, Ryan appeared on Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM show, where he revealed the moment that everything changed for them: "We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across."
He added: "I remember it was funny, because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single. I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."
Blake and Ryan went on to marry in a beautiful ceremony held in South Carolina in September 2012. They have since welcomed four daughters – James, Inez, Betty and Olin.
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling
Eve Mendes and Ryan Gosling were first linked in 2011 after co-starring in the thriller, The Place Beyond The Pines. While the couple remains extremely private, in the early years of their relationship they were often spotted running errands together in Hollywood, as well as heading to Disneyland's California Adventure Park on a date.
In 2014, Eva and Ryan became parents to their eldest daughter, Esmeralda Amada Gosling, with the actress later explaining that she'd never thought about having children until she'd met Ryan.
"I never wanted babies before until I fell in love with Ryan, and it kind of worked out to where I was 40 and having my first baby," she shared in an interview with Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa. The couple's second daughter, Amada Lee Gosling, was born in 2016 and named after Eva's grandmother.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell first met in 1968 on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, but it wasn't until 1983 that they started a relationship. Reflecting on the start of their romance, in 2012 Goldie said: "I was 21 and he was 16 and I thought he was adorable but he was much too young. And then years later we met up again and I liked him and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. But we both said we would never go out with another actor so it just shows you never can tell."
Their relationship quickly became serious after Goldie introduced Kurt to her children, Oliver and Kate Hudson. "What really got me was when I watched my kids when they'd come to the set and how he was with them," she explained. "He was amazing with them. He was such a natural."
After three years of dating, the celebrity couple eventually welcomed their son, Wyatt Russell in 1986. Decades later and Goldie and Kurt are still going strong with their beautiful blended family, and we love seeing them together on Instagram.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. first crossed paths on the set of the 1997 horror film, I Know What You Did Last Summer, but it wasn't until a few years later that they started a relationship. Had they not met on set, however, the co-stars would never have formed their friendship – and ended up on an accidental date when another friend bailed!
"We were friends for a very long time. We'd had many dinners before. And we were supposed to go with someone else, and the third person didn't make it out and we decided to still go," Sarah told PEOPLE Now in 2020. "We were just two people at dinner catching up. We had a long car ride and a long dinner and things just happened."
Following their accidental date, Freddie recalled: "One day, I just knew we were gonna get married and I knew I was gonna propose. I didn't know when or how. And so I did and fortunately, she was on the same page. My instincts were correct."
Sarah and Freddie eventually married in an intimate ceremony, which was held in Mexico in 2002. They are now proud parents to two children – Charlotte, 14, and Rocky, 11.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons met after signing on to the series, Fargo. According to the actress, the first time she saw Jesse was at the airport on their way to shoot in Calgary, and after that, they became good friends.
"We fell in love creatively first. He was like a creative soul mate to me and the way we both work," Kirsten told the LA Times. "On Fargo, I knew after two weeks. I didn't remember saying this, but one of my best friends told me that I said to her that 'I will know this man for the rest of my life. I just know it.' Just because I felt such an immediate connection."
After sparking dating rumours, the couple were spotted kissing in May 2016, and by June 2017, Kirsten had confirmed that she and Jesse were engaged. They welcomed their first son, Ennis, in May 2018 and their second, James, in May 2021.
Rose Leslie and Kit Harrington
Technically, Rose Leslie and Kit Harrington had met before working on Game of Thrones but it wasn't until they worked together on season two that a romance blossomed. "We had known each other before we started working together on Game of Thrones. It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable," Leslie told People in 2014.
According to Kit, he fell for Rose while they were shooting in Iceland for three weeks. A year later, in 2012, the pair were spotted out for dinner together in London. Following reports of a brief split in 2013, Rose and Kit reunited in 2014 and after moving in together, got engaged in 2017.
The couple chose to marry at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland, in 2018. Their Game of Thrones co-stars Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke were all in attendance.
Rose and Kit became proud parents to a baby boy in February 2021, and in July 2023, their daughter was born.
