Ashley Cruger finally broke her Instagram silence on Thursday, following Taylor Kinney's unexpected departure from Chicago Fire. The model has been in a relationship with Taylor since 2022 and has been supporting him during his break from the NBC drama. According to Deadline, the actor is currently dealing with a personal matter, although Taylor has not commented on the reports.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Ashley finally returned to the social media platform by re-posting a photo of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, which had originally been shared by Formula 1. While the brunette beauty remains tight-lipped about her boyfriend, Ashley's followers will be glad to see her back on Instagram.

In previous years, the model had been known to post frequently, but as of December 2022, she has stopped sharing photos altogether. Taylor has also fallen silent on Instagram and hasn't posted anything since December 9 2022.
Following the announcement of his departure from Chicago Fire in February, Taylor's character – Lieutenant Kelly Severide – has since been written out of the show for season 11. However, fans have been reassured that his exit is only temporary.
The official storyline is that Kelly has been called to Alabama, where he is completing training for an "opportunity of a lifetime." Currently, Chicago Fire has not confirmed when Taylor will return.
The storyline was revealed in the episode 'Damage Control' after Kelly's wife Stella was seen in their apartment alone before leaving for work. The episode then cut to Firehouse 51 which saw Captain Van Meter walking into Deputy Chief Commissioner Wallace Boden's office where they exchanged tense words about Kelly's departure.
"I want to explain," says Van Meter to which Boden replies: "Why you took my squad Lieutenant out of commission on a day's notice?" Van Meter then added: "A last-minute opening like this is the opportunity of a lifetime for Severide. After seeing him hunt down that EV charger evidence last month I couldn't think of a better man."
