Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy fans took to Twitter with delight to discuss the latest crossover episode, which saw some seriously sweet moments between the fan-favorite couple, Carina and Maya.
In the episode, Maya arrives at the hospital to check on her estranged wife, and the pair had a sweet moment - watch it here...
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "THIS is what we’ve been waiting for. Worried and protective Maya!! I’m having the time of my life over here." Another person added: " Look at her face of relief #STATION19 #greysanatomy the relief on Maya's face, please she really thought she was losing the love of her life."
A third person added: "But… 'Thank you for coming' is getting old after hearing it twice... it feels like I was watching an old ep of them in a hotel room. I felt zero progress from this scene. It should not have felt more awkward than the hotel if they've been talking since then."
© ABCSpeaking about the couple's relationship, another added: "I wish Carina could see how hard Maya is trying like Maya was so scared carina was hurt and carina couldn't even hug her."
The couple has had a troubling time recently after they hit rock bottom in the season six winter premiere of Station 19, as Carina threatens to have Maya committed to the hospital over her increasingly dangerous behavior - leading to an emotional exchange between the pair.

So what happens in the latest episode? The synopsis reads: "In the immediate aftermath of shocking events at the clinic, the hospital goes on lockdown and the Grey Sloan doctors split up to save multiple lives; Maggie lands in hot water with Winston; Jules' roommate makes a surprise appearance."
