Magnum: PI star Perdita Weeks has shared a series of behind-the-scenes snippets of upcoming episodes, as she takes HELLO! into A Day in the Life, which gives you a sneak peek into the lives of your favorite celebrities.

The series has continued to be a hit for NBC after the network saved the show when it was canceled by CBS in 2022 after a four-season run. Starring Perdita and Jay Hernandez, the series is a reboot of Tom Selleck's hit 1980s drama, following Thomas Magnum, a private investigator and former Navy SEAL who solves crimes in Hawaii.

Watch the video below to see what two episodes the cast filmed at the same time, how the crew unwind during down time - and which character may finally be returning to our screens!

Magnum: PI's Perdita Weeks takes fans into A Day In The Life

British actress Perdita, 37, stars as Juliet Higgins in Magnum P.I but despite the demanding days on set, she starts her day with just "a coffee - which is all I have until noon if I can handle it."

She then heads to base camp where she is joined by her hair and makeup team, and then waits in her trailer - which she's decorated with candles and her workout gear to make it feel more homely.

Perdita also revealed that she was filming for HELLO! while shooting two episodes - episode 13 and 14. Both will air later in 2023 in season six; NBC picked up the show fora two-season 20 episode order, with 10 episodes per season.

For episode 13, Perdita revealed there will be scenes of Juliet and Tim Kang's character Gordon Katsumoto in the police department, while episode 14 will end with the crew all together at La Mariana, the tiki bar run by ex-Marine Orville “Rick” Wright (Zachary Knighton), one of Magnum’s best friends.

Speaking of Rick - spotted on Perdita's video was Betsy Philips, Zachary's real life wife and an actress who has yet to be seen on season five yet despite their characters, Rick and Suzy, welcoming a child in season four.

In season five viewers have watched as Rick juggles new fatherhood and bar management but there's been no sighting of Suzy. Does Betsy's appearance in the video reveal she will finally be returning to screens?

Perdita ends her day with batch cooking for the week ahead and a Peloton class before she heads to bed ready for another day on set in Hawaii.
