The third FBI crossover will air on CBs on Tuesday April 4 - and it is the first with franchise newcomers Dylan McDermott (who joined FBI: Most Wanted last spring), Edwin Hodge and Eva-Jane Willis (who, respectively, joined the casts of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International earlier this season).
Little is known about the three-hour epic that will see the three teams hunt down fugitive terrorists who plan to carry out a plot to destroy a major New York City landmark and cause devastating civilian casualties. But series star Roxy Stenberg told HELLO! that fans can expect the crossover to be "like our normal episodes but on steroids - everything is enhanced and more exciting".
The crossover will start in Rome, Italy with the FBI: International team - an "incredible setting to start off the story" said Eva-Jane Willis, who stars as Smitty, "and then we discover that actually there's a crossover with something that the FBI original team are working on in New York".
"So, next thing we've got Jeremy Sisto and Shantel VanSanten turning up at our offices in Rome, which is fantastic for our team because we have a history with them."
But that will also lead to some tension, Eva-Jane has teased, adding: "The episode is full of adrenaline and rapid-fire dialogue as well as action. But for me personally, my favorite moment is where I go head to head with Jubal for a couple of moments."
"A lot is at stake both professionally and personally for many of the characters" in the crossover added the British actress, hinting: "And there's definitely some personal jeopardy for the characters. There's also a tug of war to do with an ethical approach to what we do, and how we approach the job and that becomes quite a big challenge for us."

The second episode of the crossover will see the FBI team connect with Most Wanted's Remy (Dylan McDermott) and Barnes (Roxy Stenberg) who are called in by Maggie (Missy Peregym).
"We're brought on to share our expertise," said Roxy, who has worked with several of the FBI actors before as the show was launched as a backdoor pilot. "It's like returning to the roots. It's really fun, they have most of the same cast and crew there so it's really exciting, not only having to deal with a huge script but also to return to working with the people where we started".

The third and final episode will see FBI: International star Luke Kleintank and FBI stars Missy, Jeremy, Zeeko Zaki, Alana De La Garza, John Boyd and Katherine Renee Kane make an appearance in Most Wanted, and Roxy shared that there are some "nice scenes" between Remy and Agent Scola (John Boyd) that fans will love.
Having new actors come onto a set that already has its own rhythms can cause its own challenges and Eva-Jane acknowledged that the International team - who all enjoy dinners and spend time together as a family when not filming - "often make each other laugh, which can be a big problem because the tiniest thing will trigger us and we fall into fits of laughter and it takes a minute for us to get back to back on track".

"So when you bring on a different family and how they work together, it just changes the environment. But I think in a way it gave us a nice kick up the bum. We were like, 'Oh God, we gotta do this now!'"
