FBI: Most Wanted's team has been through it this past year following the death of Jess LeCroix (played by Julian McMahon) and newcomer Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) shaking things up.
Special Agent Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) found the transition particularly difficult, with fans seeing her and Remy butting heads over the past season but during Tuesday April 4's global crossover, the pair were called in by FBI's Maggie (played by Missy Peregrym) to help with an international terror attack, and they're frosty relationship is beginning to thaw.
"We've shot some really great scenes together. We have a lovely car scene together where he makes me laugh, But I've enjoyed playing the friction and I've enjoyed the lighter moments. It feels like a really truthful relationship with them," Roxy told HELLO!, sharing what viewers may see coming up next in the aftermath of the crossover.
"Losing Jess, who she was very close to, it was inevitable that she would be a little bit standoffish with this new boss, and I've really enjoyed the rollercoaster of this relationship," Roxy added.
"I really enjoy the at-home stuff, the hearty, soulful and meaningful relationships, and so I really hope for Barnes to have more of that, more family life, and [for us to see] more of her back story."
The third crossover saw three teams hunt down fugitive terrorists who plan to carry out a plot to destroy a major New York City landmark and cause devastating civilian casualties. It kicked off in Rome, Italy with the FBI: International team being joined by FBI's Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) and Nina Chase (Shantal VanSanten).
Jubal's appearance in Europe, however, led to tension with Eva-Jane Willis's Megan "Smitty" Garretson, and the South African actress shared that her favorite scene is where "I go head to head with Jubal for a couple of moments".
"As an actor, and a newcomer to the franchise, I wondered how I would be able to hold my own against him, especially when he's such a well-loved character," she revealed.

"But Smitty had a little bit of a rant about American political sentiments, and the reason is because she is the voice of Rome in that moment - the police are having problems with the FBI and their presence, and I am the go-between, and I find myself between a rock and a hard place.
"Agent Forester (Luke Kleintank) stands up for Smitty and points out that every day she fights on behalf of America, on behalf of the team and puts her life on the line wholeheartedly, and that she would never choose Europe over the FBI. Ultimately, Jubal and Smitty have this unified moment at the end. And Jeremy and I made a joke that this would be the start of a beautiful love story if we were on the same continent - but unfortunately we're not."
